Taste is the one thing AI can’t automate.
I’m Vigneash. I’ve spent real time building as a Vibe-Designer, and I’m still becoming a world-class one. This newsletter is where I pass down what I’ve learned so far, and document what’s still ahead.
A Vibe-Designer, by my own definition:
Someone who takes their existing design knowledge and expertise, combines it with AI, and uses that combination to make things that are unique, thoughtful, and unlike anything people have seen before.
Not someone who prompts an AI to build a website. Not someone who skips learning design entirely because a tool will do it for them. A Vibe-Designer already has an eye. They use AI to move at a speed that eye never had access to before.
That’s the practice I’m building. I’ve got real reps in it already, and I’m still sharpening it. If you’re on the same path, this is for you.
If any of this sounds like you, you’re in the right place:
You already care about design. You notice bad UX, ugly type pairings, the layouts that just work. But you want to move faster without losing that instinct.
You’re building things (a site, a product, a brand) largely on your own, without a design team to lean on.
You’re curious about AI in your design workflow, but tired of content that’s either “AI will replace you” fear-mongering or empty tool listicles.
You want to watch someone actually build a body of work in public. That means mistakes and wins, with the reasoning behind both, instead of a polished highlight reel.
Here’s exactly what you get, every week, for free:
1. A real lesson from the week. Something I actually learned building my own design practice and my Framer work. Not theory. The thing that worked, the thing that didn’t, and why.
2. A short list of things worth your time. Sites, tools, design experiments, or AI workflows I’ve found (or built myself) that made me stop and look twice.
3. A front-row seat to what I’m building. Including early access when I open up my own Framer template store over at vigneash.com. You’ll hear about it before it’s announced anywhere else.
That’s it. No fluff, no filler weeks, no paywall. Free, every week, for as long as I’m doing this.
A little about me
I’m a first-year engineering student who stepped away from a previous path to focus on design. I’ve spent the last stretch designing in Framer, building with AI, and shipping real work, not just studying theory. I’m not new to this. I’m also not at the top of it yet. What I share here comes from real practice, tested on real projects, while I’m still climbing toward world-class. That’s exactly why it’s worth reading. It’s current, not theoretical, and it comes from someone still in it.
One year from now
There will be two kinds of people building on the internet. Ones who spent this year sharpening a taste that AI can imitate but never originate. And ones who didn’t bother, whose work looks like everyone else’s.
I know which one I’m trying to be. If you do too, subscribe. Let’s build the eye for it together, one week at a time.
Subscribe. It’s free.
